  • Explore San José, Arenal and Manuel Antonio
  • All local airfare and ground transportation included
  • Explore the country's most popular national park; the world's second most active volcano; and the cultural capital of Costa Rica
  • Starting at $960 per person

Day 1

Fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José, Costa Rica. Your private driver will deliver you to the Alta Hotel in Santa Ana, an upscale suburb of the bustling capital city. Check into your suite and take time to explore your first taste of Costa Rica: the spectacular views and beautiful grounds of the Alta. As the sun sets, choose your favorite table at the onsite La Luz Restaurant, a gourmet delight of Costa Rican fusion cuisine and friendly service.

Includes: Private airport transportation

Days 2 & 3

Enjoy a filling breakfast in the Alta's elegant dining room before your private driver whisks you away to Tobias Bolaños Airport. Nature Air, the world's first carbon-neutral airline, is your chauffer on a quick flight to La Fortuna, Arenal. Upon arrival, a shuttle is waiting to escort you to the Arenal Volcano Inn, your home-away-from-home for the next two days. La Fortuna, a town in the shadow of the active Arenal Volcano, is yours to explore: will you zip-line through the jungle, hike around the volcano, or soak away the stress in thermal hot springs? (Hint: You can choose all three!)

Includes: Breakfast, ground transportation and airfare

Day 4

Enjoy a delicious breakfast with a side of volcano views before returning to the airport for a direct (30-minute), carbon-neutral flight to Quepos, Manuel Antonio. A shuttle takes you to the exclusive, eco-friendly Si Como No hotel, famed for its fine taste and spectacular Pacific Ocean views. Today is yours to explore Manuel Antonio, mosey down the beach, or catch some golden rays. In the evening, we recommend tucking into a delicious seafood dinner and drinks under the stars.

Includes: Breakfast, ground transportation and airfare

Day 5

It's another day in paradise – it's a tough life in the Costa Rican tropics. If you can rustle up the energy, head to Manuel Antonio National Park. (But not on Mondays, when the park is closed.) One of the most visited parks in the country, Manuel Antonio sprawls over 1,700 land acres and 135,905 marine acres, encompassing expansive oceanfront rainforest and underwater treasures prized for snorkeling or scuba diving. Soak up the sun, enjoy some fresh ceviche, or opt for an adventure tour – parasailing, ATVs, horseback riding, air boats, mountain biking, and high ropes are all on the menu.

Includes: Breakfast

Day 6

Head back to the Quepos airport this morning for a carbon-neutral flight back to San José. There, your private driver waits to usher you to the Hotel Best Western Irazu for one last day in the city. Wander the capital's streets, where you'll discover excellent souvenir stands and entertaining people-watching around the hotel, as well as colonial culture and architecture in downtown San José's historic center.

Includes: Breakfast and airfare

Day 7

Enjoy one last breakfast in Costa Rica before your trip to the San José International Airport for your flight home. Adiós for now, but we hope to see you again soon!

Includes: Breakfast and airport transportation
