Day 1

• Fly into the San Jose International Airport
• Connect with you private transfer, and off you go to the Hotel Grano de Oro for your first night in Costa Rica.
• Settle in and enjoy an exceptional dining experience before heading for bed.
• Stay at Hotel Grano de Oro (deluxe room)

 Day 2

• Rise and shine early to be whisked away on your Caribbean kayak adventure
• After an early morning departure from San José, we will travel east, riding through Braulio Carrillo National Park.
• We'll breakfast at Río Danta. Now in the Atlantic lowlands, we travel through banana plantations until we reach our starting point in the Tortuguero National Park Station on the Tortuguero River.
• Lunch will be along the way after an hour paddle down the river, in the middle of the Parks' tropical forest.
• Late afternoon arrival at Mawamba lodge, welcome cocktail and dinner here tonight.

 Day 3

• After a great breakfast we will be shuttled by boat about 25 miles towards the Colorado River, passing through Penitencia Canal until we arrive at Samay Laguna.
• Here we will board our kayaks for a three to four hour exploration of this area.

 Day 4

• After breakfast you will be transferred to the Tortuguero airstrip for a short, and amazing view-filled carbon neutral flight back to San Jose .
• Your private driver will be at the Tobias Bolanos airport waiting to escort you to the next segment of your adventure expedition…the majestic Arenal volcano!
• Stay at the Arenal Observatory (Smithsonian room)

 Day 5

• Cerro Chato Hike (Sunset Tours)
• Stay at the Arenal Observatory (Smithsonian room)

Day 6

• Full day Mountain bike adventure(El Castillo)( Sunset Tours)
• Sample the course of the famous two day Costa Rican annual bike race as you experience this rainforesty volcano area on two wheels!
• Stay at Arenal Observatory Lodge (Smithsonian room)

Day 7

• Wake up this morning to your last few hours of this incredible and unique view of the volcano as you enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet.
• Prepare for check out from your room and await your private transfer to the Arenal airstrip for another exciting carbon neutral flight with Nature Air
• Upon arrival another transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
• Stay at the Tamarindo Diria (Sunset ocean view room)

 Day 8 & 9

• These days are yours to enjoy however you please…relax those sore muscles from your earlier expeditions or hop of a surf board and catch some waves right outside your hotel!
• Surfing lessons can be easily arranged. This hotel is in walking distance of numerous shops, bars and restaurants and your room has the best ocean view around. Life is good!!
• Stay at the Tamarindo Diria (Sunset ocean view room)

 Day 10

• Wake up, have breakfast and await your transfer to the Liberia International airport (approx. 1 hour) to connect with your flight back home.
