Detailed Itinerary for the Costa Rica Eco-Adrenaline Adventure

The Eco-Adrenaline Vacation Package includes 8 Adventurous Days and 9 Relaxing Nights in 3 of Costa Rica's finest hotels.

Day 1

• Arrive in Costa Rica
• Travel (prearranged International flight) to San Jose.
• You will be welcomed by a representative from the national chamber of tourism and taken through baggage claim and out of the airport to your driver.
• Transfer to Arenal Volcano (approx 3.5 hours)
• Check in and stay at Silencio del Campo Hotel
• Breakfast Included

Day 2

• Arenal Hike and Hot Springs and/or Dinner Buffet
• The tour begins with a 15 minute-trip to the far west side of Arenal Volcano, at your arrival our guide will explain you everything about the Volcanoes formation, eruption and contributions to Fortuna is model development. This is the best way to look at the volcano lava flowing from a safe point and the best panoramic view of the volcano!
• Then you will submerge in a primary Tropical rain forest, where you will spend about 1 ½ hour exploring the Silencio Trail, which is located in a private primary forest, facing the majestic Arenal Volcano.
• Tour includes: Door to door minivan A/C services, certified bilingual guide, beverages, buffet dinner and entrance to the Tabacon hot springs.

Day 3
Pure Trek Canyoning

• Upon arriving at our base you will be served a delicious breakfast in view of the Arenal Volcano.
• You trip begins with a 30 minutes 4x4 drive into a tropical Rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the Arenal Volcano . We stop to see many different indigenous plants and animals along the way.
• We then trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Along the way we will have the chance to see monkeys, toucans; sloth’s, parrots and discover the secrets that lie hidden deep in the canyon.
• When we arrive at the waterfalls we will rappel from the top down into the beautiful pristine canyon below.

Day 4

• Rio Toro Whitewater Rafting (Class 3 and 4)
• Take one of the hottest full day rafting trips in the country on the mighty Rio Toro! 2.5 hours of non-stop whitewater action. This stretch of rapids offers 45 continuous rapids class 3-4 rapids. The river canyon includes exotic wildlife and fauna. Tours depart from La Fortuna at 8:30 am and return around 3:30 pm.

Day 5

• Travel to Manuel Antonio
• Transfer to Arenal Airstrip (approx 45 minutes)
• Fly to Quepos with NatureAir (via San Jose – approx 1.5 hours)
• Transfer to Manuel Antonio (approx 20 minutes)
• Stay at Si Como No Hotel breakfast included

Day 6

• Ecological Titi Monkey Manuel Antonio Canopy (Day or Night Tour)—
• Excellent for individuals, families, children 5 years old and over, or large groups. People of all ages will enjoy this adventure tour because of its variety, options and bio-diversity. Travel through the primary Costa Rican tropical jungle on suspension cables as you move through the primary jungle canopy with your bilingual guides and safety spotters from platform to platform.
• Includes: Round trip transportation, bilingual guides and naturalists, all equipment needed, security, great snacks and refreshments, and Night Tour includes a great dinner.
• Tours are approximately 3 hours starting: 7:00am, 10:30am, 2:00pm or 5:30pm.

Day 7

• Day of Beach, Snorkeling and Coastal kayaking---
• The adventure begins near the developing Pez Vela (Sail Fish) Marina in Quepos and winds along the Manuel Antonio coastline.
• Indulge yourselves at a rare jewel of a beach – a hidden Manuel Antonio treasure at Biezans Bay – for a refreshing swim and delicious local snacks.
•  And feel free to have your bilingual naturalist guide direct you to the best snorkeling spots as you experience three small but growing, active, and astounding coral reef systems nestled very close to the shore of Biezans Bay
• Or just relax and enjoy the tranquility of a private white sand beach.
• After an unforgettable experience at Biezans, continue kayaking – if you choose to do so – towards Manuel Antonio National Park and wonder the nearby nesting islands where exotic birds such as boobies and frigates call home year round. Ask your naturalist guide to steer you towards their favorite species’ nesting spots and most popular locations for local aquatic marine life.
• And finally end your adventure with a relaxing yet rewarding hot meal in typical Costa Rican flavor near the beach at a local Manuel Antonio hot spot before you return to your Costa Rican residence.

Day 8

• Travel to San José—
• Transfer to Quepos Airstrip (approx 20 minutes)
• Fly to San Jose carbon neutral style with NatureAir
• Transfer to Hotel Presidente

Day 9

• Depart Costa Rica:
• Transfer to San Jose International Airport
• Await your prearranged international flight back home.
