Carbon Neutral Itinerary

Day 1
After your arrival into the San Jose International Airport, you will be welcomed by a tourism representative who will help guide you through baggage claim and customs. Afterwards a Nature Air driver will pick you up outside the terminal to take you to your junior suite at the Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn. Situated above the beautiful Central Valley of Costa Rica, surrounded by towering “Higuerón” trees and exotic flora, the Inn offers spectacular views of volcanoes, cloud forests and coffee plantations. Settle in, relax and take in the picturesque views of this fairy-tale-like boutique hotel by exploring the beautiful gardens, reading library or spring-fed infinity pool.

Day 2
Check out of your room and re-connect with your private, carbon neutral bio-diesel transfer for a quick ride to the Tobias Bolanos Airport, where you will board your flight to Puerto Jimenez on Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula. A private shuttle will pick you up and take you to your new home for the next three nights, Lapa Rios Ecolodge. Set in a private nature reserve spread over 1,000 acres of Central America's last remaining lowland tropical rainforest in Costa Rica, Lapa Rios overlooks the pristine point where the Golfo Dulce meets the Pacific. You will stay in a spacious suita-thatch bungalow with classic banboo furnishings, nestled within the rain forest canopy. Prepare to relax as all of your meals are included, leaving you with one challenge: choose your next adventure.

Day 3-4
These days are yours to relax on your giant balcony, or book a tour to the Corcovado National Park, go whale watching, snorkeling or learn more about the lodge’s conservation and social initiatives.

Day 5
Today it is time to leave this tropical hideaway. After an early breakfast, you will be taken back to the airport in Puerto Jimenez for your flight back to San Jose. Return to the Finca Rosa Blanca Inn for your last night in Costa Rica.

Day 6
Wake up to a heaping breakfast with Costa Rica coffee and perhaps one last walk through the tropical greenery before a short transfer in our carbon-neutral Nature Van to the San Jose International Airport to await your flight home. Relax and reflect while waiting for your flight knowing that your entire vacation in Costa Rica left no carbon footprints!
